UNIFORM ATHLETE AGENTS ACTSection 61-14F-1 – 61-14F-19 NMSA 1978
The Uniform Athlete Agents Act was passed and signed by the Governor of New Mexico during the first session of the State of New Mexico 49th Legislative Session. This new law provides for the registration, certification and criminal disclosure for athlete agents seeking to represent student athletes, who may be eligible to participate in intercollegiate sports. The law requires athlete agents to disclose their education, training, and experience, and whether they or an associate have been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude.
